The article is devoted to the Moscow experience of museum adaptation for visually impaired people. Over the past few years, Russian museums have begun to actively engage in social inclusion of disabled people. Moscow museums are actively developing their programs in this field. A lot of things are created for visually impaired people, who are one of the most difficult audiences. Along with successful programs, there are many problems, common to all museums not only in Moscow, but also in Russia, and localized in a particular museum. The experience of programs creation for blind and visually impaired people of the State Darwin Museum, the State Historical Museum, the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Museum of M. A.Bulgakov, the Museum “Lights of Moscow” and the Museum of Modern Art “Garage” is considered in the article.
