Exhibitions of Chinese art in the Soviet Union (1930–1960) and the place of “flowers and birds” paintings within them

The article analyzes the Chinese exhibitions brought from China and held in various museum spaces of the USSR. In particular, the article focuses on the Chinese art exhibitions which had in their composition “flowers and birds” paintings. It presents stages of exhibition preparations and the list of displayed “flowers and birds” paintings, based on the study of catalogs and archival materials.
